Friday, September 16: Children’s Storytime in ASL – Lillie Russell Memorial Library in Lindale will be kicking off the week with a Children’s Storytime in American Sign Language! It starts at 10:30 AM so be there with your little ones and learn new signs! (200 E Hubbard St, Lindale, TX 75771) 

Monday, September 19: Deaf Family & Friends Putt-Putt Fun – Meet at CiCi’s Pizza (1938 E SE Loop 323, Tyler, TX) at 5 PM for dinner and then head on over to Putt-Putt (2311 SH Loop 323 North, Tyler, TX) for some putting excitement at 6:30! 

Tuesday, September 20: Deaf Awareness Week Resolution – We will celebrate Deaf Awareness Week at Smith County Commissioners Court Annex Building (200 E. Ferguson, Tyler, TX) at 9:30 AM. If you are interested in attending the Commissioners Court, you need to let Susie know (suzygrona@gmail.com) by Friday, September 16th. We have to be there before 9:30 AM. 

Wednesday, September 21: Deaf, Deaf World – Deaf, Deaf World will take place at Tyler Junior College, Main Campus, Pirtle technology (room #109 & lobby area) at 6:00 PM – 8:30 PM if you’re curious about interactions out in the “real world.” 

Thursday, September 22: TDHHC Fundraiser & Open House – TDHHC will have a fundraiser at Dickey’s Barbecue Pit (1501 W. Southwest Loop 323, Tyler, TX) at 1 PM – 5 PM. – The Office of Teresa Dell – Deaf & Hard of Hearing Resource Program (Office #103) & TDHHC (Office #114) will have an Open House at 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM at Tyler Junior College West Campus (1530 S Southwest Loop 323, Tyler, TX in Business Incubator) 

Friday, September 23: Lindale Deaf Chat – Come meet other people and socialize at Deaf Chat @ Whataburger in Lindale, TX 6 PM – 9 PM (311 S Main St, Lindale, TX 75771) 

Saturday, September 24: Deaf Hangout – Come bowl and have drinks at Deaf Hangout in the Times Square Grand Slam starting at 4 PM. Meet near the VIP section. (5201 S Broadway, Tyler, TX 75703) 

Sunday, September 25: Deaf Worship or Learn about ASL/Deaf Culture – Watch Deaf Worship on YouTube or attend worship of your own choice.
