Updates from TJC 

The Tyler Deaf and Hard of Hearing Center wishes to honor Rhonda McKinzie, MS, LPC, for her 14 years of service as the Department Chair of TJC’s Interpreter Training Program. Thank you for your many years of service and dedication, making the ITP a leader in the state for training new interpreters. We are excited about this new and exciting stage in your life as you transition into offering other services for the Deaf community and wish you success in all your endeavors. Introductions from Kim Hunt 

Hello! I’d like to introduce myself. I’m Kim Hunt and will be the new Professor/Program Coordinator for TJC Interpreter Training Program. There will be lots of new plans and exciting things happening. Look for the announcement for an open house and other activities coming soon. 

I am also looking forward to getting started this month and partnering with TDHHC. I am looking forward to meeting all of you. I have over 39 years of professional experience, which includes interpreting, teaching, training, mentoring and working within the Deaf community.
